Jide Alara – Chief Executive Officer
Jide is a seasoned administrator with over 12 years cumulative experience both in the private and public sectors.
He has served home and abroad in organizations like DAAR Communications, Nectar UK, the Lagos State Government & Amazon Services Inc, providing solutions in corporate communications & transport operations capacities. He has consulted alongside state governments and international automobile manufacturers for urban mass transit renewal programs in Nigeria. Such partners and clients include the Kano State Govt, Delta State Govt, Anambra State Govt, Kaduna State Govt, Imo State Govt & Abuja FCT as well as Daewoo Autoland Ltd from South Korea and Yutong Group Co Ltd from China.
Jide holds a Bachelors in Mass Communication and Masters in Public Affairs and Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University and Northumbria University respectively.
Manoj Soni – Chief, Operations & Technology
Manoj drives a lot of expertise and goodwill into DEL. He is a well-versed professional in conventional and electric mass transits planning as well as techno-commercial operations.
He has dedicated over 22 years to evolving mass transit systems in India and Nigeria. During his career, he has succeeded in launching India’s first operational Electric Bus System & Swap Technology with Ashok Leyland via Ahmedabad’s BRT system. Also, his tenure as General Manager, LAGBUS between 2014-2016 consistently delivered over 30% operational rates with on-road fleet, a re-engineered supply chain division and efficient management of 14 Red Bus Franchise Holders in Lagos State.
Manoj has served on global mass transit projects with the World Bank such as ESSMAP and received recognition as Top Transport Executive of Nigeria in 2014, Best City Bus Operations and Best Electric Bus Operations System in India 2021. He holds a Bachelors of Commerce and a Masters in Business Administration from the National Institute of Business Management and the University of Mumbai in India respectively.
Momoh Mohammed – Chief, Assets & Construction
Momoh brings to DEL repute hands-on experience in the areas of construction engineering and facility management services.
His career spans 25 years working home and abroad with organizations like Bristow Helicopters, Shell Nigeria, LAGBUS Assets Management Ltd & AGE Facilities. He has been directly involved with the success of construction projects such as the Mall of the Emirates, the Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai and Central Park Abuja, Nigeria.
Momoh is a Certified Facilities Management Professional (FMP), Certified Project Manager(CPM), and a Certified Administrator from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Kelechi Obiajuku – Company Secretary
Kelechi has been with DEL since its inception; ratifying its incorporation, franchise service agreements, international partnerships and corporate practice systems. He is a seasoned adviser in the areas of Commercial Law and Public Procurement.
He brings to DEL over 12 years of experience in public systems having served under different administrations in the Lagos State Government on projects such as Lagos Smart City, the Lagos State Open Access Metro Duct/Fiber Infrastructure Project, the Lagos State Development Plan 2025-2050 and the Strategic Assessment of Lagos State Water Corporation. Asides from these, he is the Legal Adviser of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency and serves as secretariat to its Governing Board.
Kelechi has an LLB from Lagos State University and an LLM from the University of Lagos. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria and holds international Certifications in “Contracts Administration: From Award to Completion” from EUROMATECH & “Transforming a Procurement Function” from GLOMACS.
